I am still a bit on fuzzy on which antenna to select. I live in a rural area near the state line of Wisconsin and Illinois. Chicago is about 65 miles away, Milwaukee is about 45 miles away. I was thinking of an exterior directional antenna with a rotor to aim at Chicago or Milwaukee, Rockford, Illinois as well if I’m so inclined. However the idea of an omnidirectional is a consideration, especially as it would alleviate the necessity of a rotor. I wonder if I could ask your thoughts on my situation and provide me your insight.
